Every line below is performed on site and logged at the moment of measurement. If a method cannot be applied, the row is recorded as not accessible rather than left blank.

02 / Accessibility limits
We work at the kerb, in a yard, or in the seller's parking bay. Some assemblies stay sealed on the car. Below is exactly where the boundary sits, so you can read the report with the right expectations.

04 · Report key
Every line in the report ends in one of three labels. Each label is a word plus a shape, so it stays readable in a black and white print-out and when a screen reader speaks it aloud.
Within the expected range for the age and mileage as observed on the day of inspection. The measured value is printed next to the label so you can compare it yourself.
Outside the expected range, so it warrants follow-up or a second look before you agree a price. Wear, seepage and stored fault codes usually land here rather than at Fail.
A defect that prevents normal operation or makes the vehicle unsafe to drive in its current state. We stop the walkaround, photograph it, and record it in the summary of visible defects.
04 Booking
Pick a window and we travel to the seller's location with an OBD scanner, paint-depth gauge and lift, then hand you the report with measured values on the same visit.
